The Challenge

CONEXPO-CON/AGG is North America's largest construction trade show, and its podcast is a year-round authority channel for the industry — 400+ episodes of business insight for contractors. The show is run by AEM's marketing team, not a production studio. Every episode is a multi-guest video recording that has to come back as a finished package: the full episode, vertical clips, titles, and captions.

And because this is an association's flagship property, nothing ships unreviewed. Internal stakeholders mark up each cut with timestamped edit notes, upper management wants preview versions, and brand safety is non-negotiable — right down to language that has to be cleanly muted in both the audio and the on-screen captions. The production partner has to absorb all of that without blowing the release calendar.

The Solution

Podigy runs the full post-production pipeline for the show, with a dedicated editor who works AEM's review process like a member of their team.

  • Full video episodes edited from raw multi-take remote recordings
  • Vertical clip packages cut from every episode, captioned and brand-safe
  • Title options pitched for every episode, tuned for contractor search
  • Timestamped stakeholder edit rounds folded into the delivery schedule
  • Preview cuts assembled on request for leadership review
  • Delivery into AEM's own SharePoint and Drive folders — their systems, not ours

What Made It Work

Association-Grade Review

Trade associations answer to boards, members, and brand guidelines. Podigy's delivery schedule is built around AEM's timestamped edit rounds and leadership previews — review isn't an interruption to the process, it is the process.

Industry Intelligence

Podigy tracks what the construction industry is actually talking about — by month, by week, and by day — and feeds that intelligence into episode topics and clip selection, so the show stays part of the industry conversation instead of trailing it.

Video-First Delivery

A 400-episode audio legacy is now a full video franchise. Every recording becomes a YouTube-ready episode plus a set of captioned vertical clips, which means one conversation reaches contractors wherever they actually scroll.
